Course Description: The overall aim of the course is to facilitate an individual’s knowledge, critical appreciation and expertise to enable them to develop, implement and evaluate integrated advertising and marketing communications strategies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Course Description: The MA programme in film studies focuses upon the advanced study of cinema.  It assumes that you have attained a degree of expertise before starting and will aim to deal with the familiar in a more sophisticated manner and the unfamiliar in theoretical, historical and material terms. The Film Studies Master’s degree has two parts.  The first consists of four modules: Film Text Analysis, British Film History, Research Methods and Film and Cultural Value.  Part Two consists mainly of the dissertation, which is a substantial piece of scholarly research, on a subject of your own choice, chosen and discussed in detail with a supervisor in the Department.

Non-native English speakers are required to take a University recognised test of academic English language proficiency with required minimum proficiency levels equating to an IELTS score of 7.0 or a TOEFL score of 610 (paper based test) or 250 (computer based) with an essay rating of 5.5 or 100 (internet based).
