This is a studio practice based course that enables students to extend their potential at postgraduate level as an innovative practitioner in graphic design, illustration or animation. Students will explore the exciting and rapidly evolving area of visual communication, which includes the latest developments in graphic design, illustration, publishing, web design, branding, advertising identity, the internet, screen based and moving image and contemporary practice in communication arts.

Fee Structure: £8,950 (Approx. Rs. 6,55,840)

Eligibility Criteria: An undergraduate degree (at least second class), in a related subject, or an equivalent qualification.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should normally have an honours degree (typically 2:1 or above). Comparable qualifications, for example the CIM Postgraduate Diploma or the CIM Professional Diploma, or at least 4 years’ relevant work experience will also be considered. IELTS 7.0 (Academic) or above.

On completion of the degree, students will have created a portfolio of work to a professional standard, from initial concept to finished draft and thereby be prepared for professional practice.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should normally possess a good first degree (2:1 or above) but we will consider applicants with other experience which gives an equivalent basis for entry.

Course Description: Students will learn news values, news story construction, news writing, and how to make audio and video for websites. They will compile a substantial portfolio of published work, working closely with our partner organisation, the Evening Gazette (part of the Trinity Mirror Group). The first stage comprises four 20-credit modules and one 40-credit module, and in the second a final 60-credit dissertation.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates will be evaluated on an individual basis and the level of their achievement, experience and suitability for the degree will be properly assessed. One should normally have a first or 2.1 in a recognised undergraduate programme.
