INSTRUCTIONS

• Mail Entries to: connect@bmmbox.com
• Subject Line: Movie title, College name
• Mail Body: Your name, names of your team members, current college year of each member (if in TY mention specialization), theme of the movie, mention subject and term in which movie was made (eg: Understanding Cinema, 3rd sem)

RULES

• Movie length: 5 minutes or less
• Students who don’t follow the above mentioned instructions will be disqualified
• ONLY BMM students can participate in this event
• Send movies in .avi format
• In case of huge file size, use file sharing site ‘wetransfer.com’

Hello to all the BMM and media enthusiasts (and to BMMites and faculty members who know someone who is looking for BMM-related info!)

Have you or your friends, relatives been considering joining a media course?
Are you or other people you know looking at colleges in Mumbai that offer BMM but don’t know which one to go for?
What does it take to do a media course? Are you cut for it?

Answers to this and more! BMMBox has planned InfoBox 2012 – a BMM-Information Seminar for all those who are interested in securing admission in the various BMM colleges including St. Xavier’s, Jai Hind, KC, Wilson, UPG, Rizvi, Ruia, and so on!

*A nominal registration/participation fee is being charged so that only genuine participants turn up at the event. Parents/guardians can attend by taking an additional pass for themselves.

– What makes a good media/BMM College
– Why getting admitted to a good media/BMM college is VERY important
– Points to consider when choosing a media college

Part 3
– Media Industry Interaction
– Interact with both Ex-BMM students and top media professionals who are now working at advertising agencies, media and production houses, MNCs, public relations agencies, large publications, event managements companies, etc. They will give their perspectives on BMM and media industry

Part 4
– Open Question and Answers session to ask all your doubts (if not covered during the sessions), and personal thoughts or apprehensions on taking the course.

The 3rd official BMMBox Internship Program is now live! And as always, we are looking for smart folks as interns with us. While on an internship, interns don’t get paid but they do get a really cool internship certificate for the great work they do! And the best, you can work from home!

If you’re game, read the Roles and Responsibility of a BMMBox Intern below;

ROLE 1

Role Title: Content Writer
Role Responsibility:
– We provide you the topics and you send them in via email/online submission!
– You NEED to have a good command over English and great vocab!
– We are very particular about deadlines – so the articles should come in on dates decided.
– You’ll be assigned a writing project and you’ll be responsible for it. You’ll be your own manager
– All original content! No cheating, no using Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V!

ROLE 2

Role Title: BMM Alumni-Interaction Associate
Role responsibility:
– Look out for BMM Alumni who are doing well in the industry and get their online interview
– Coordinate with them and send them the interview form link (we will provide you the format)
– Update the content on the site (site access will be provided to you)
– You NEED to know or find at least 20 Ex-BMM students who have passed out from BMM in 2010 or before.
– Apply for this role, only if you know or you will be able to find contact details (email address, mobile number) of Ex-BMM students and take 20 online interviews.
