I guess you should you should take freelance projects on your own and work
on them when you get time esp if you cant afford going to learn the course
and cant make it to the internship cuz of college.

Why will people come to you if you will take your own time and you’re not a
professional? Dish out couple of projects free of cost or at nominal cost so
that others can see your work and become your future clients.

IMO, there is no BMM college, that provides guaranteed jobs, so *no question
*of guaranteed internships BTW, if you’re looking at things guaranteed
for you on platter, maybe media industry is the wrong choice

No BMM in Pune yet. They may have some mass communication courses. Google.

Both are great, in their own ways! But from a media perspective, I am sure

I am studying in SYBMM from MKS college, Andheri.I had scored 71% in 12th (ISC) and scored 69% in FYBMM.I have just got to know we have nothing related to journalism in the third year in our college.I was really looking forward to journalism as I have a flare in writing and sure want to do something ahead related to that. We have just Advertising in here.My freinds had applied in many colleges long back and they have got calls when the seats were available. I got late in doing that. And now I am confused with what would be best to do.Many people are suggesting that I should rather do diploma in Journalism and continue in the same college. But my elders advise me not to do so, diploma in Journalism and degree in Advertising would make no sense.

you got a great score people die trying to get it! its gonna be a cake walk for you to get into any college of your choice. if u can try a college for a week or month and then you can change according to your will cause every college would be wanting to have a student like you. but the best for you will be UPG, as a friend of mine who also played drums wanted to get into that college.  good luck.

Ideally between the summer breaks for SYBMM and TYBMM. Some enthusiastic (read smart) students also take up internships in winter breaks before the next semester begins.

So, in total you have 5 open periods for internships and 2 you MUST.

well first you need to understand what you really want to do? get your concepts clear about the field you are pursuing. you can not keep switching your course. if you always wished to do BMM in Xaviers…try once. no harm in trying. If you are good enough you might just get a seat there. best of luck.

Frankly, we are not in touch with any or know of any real great accounts/finance teacher. However, Prof. Arvind Dhond who *used *to teach at St Xavier’s is an amazing person for finance/accounts. You will even get his book in the stores. But I am not really sure if he will come to teach at your residence!

I’m a TYBMM student and my result online is showing as unavailable. Does that mean I have a KT?

Not necessary! So dont loose hope! There must be a logistic/technical reason your result would have been withheld/not declared. Try reaching out to your coordinator. If that doesn’t work – you can go to University Examinations department with you hall ticket and tell them about your problem.

Frankly, I dont think its possible to get admitted to second year of BMM because you’ve completed first year of your BBA (If thats what your question was). But yes its possible for you to apply fresh for BMM first year (on the basis of your HSC in which case your FYBBA will not get you any added points. I remember having a classmate who did his architecture until 4th year and then joining BMM fresh! Hes doing great in the industry now. But then you need to be sure and be passionate about media! Frankly, you need to make a touch choice. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any other info.
