Role Description:

Drafting sectoral research reports

Redrafting news article, passion to fuse numbers with qualitative statements

Rewriting news articles to value add

Aggregating news/numerical data, database maintenance

Should be proactive and have high degree of intellectual curiosity

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Role Description :

Sales of high quality research Reports and Newsletters on India’s energy and infrastructure sectors.

Candidate should have experience of at least 3 years in similar area of businesses.

He/she should be dynamic result-oriented professional with articulation skills and must have excellent command over English.

He/she should also have capability to understand the content of research reports to help market them.

Understanding of the sectors will be preferable.

Ability to sell subscriptions for publications (Must be able to communicate with decision makers from Industry on an independent basis, prepare sales letters and proposals and do regular follow-up)

Should be a graduate preferably but not necessarily.

Track industry experts to facilitate topic selections and speaker recruitment.

Assist in the development of conference direction and topics by discussion with industry experts

Assist in the development of conference scheduling, pricing and budgets,

Assist in speaker recruitment and assist operations department in planning Liaising with associates, consultants, advisory committees and industry experts

Work cooperatively with the functional staff for the overall success of the show.

Should be comfortable with Reporting and at the desk.

Interviewing industry leaders

Rewriting articles and writing fresh articles as well.

Doing Feature articles which are interview-based.

Completing pages into production as per Asst. Editor / Executive Editor’s requirements.

Coordinating with designers / DTP operators and ensuring an error-free & smooth production process.

The incumbent will be reporting to the Assistant Editor / Executive / Managing Editor.

Person should be a graduate from Mass Communications preferably.
