Course Description: Radio is undergoing enormous changes both in the way it is created and in the way we listen to it. The development of DAB, Internet Radio and Podcasting bring with them opportunities for reaching new audiences and for using sound in fresh, exciting ways. At the same time the chance to operate low-budget, small-scale community stations puts this powerful tool in the hands of charities and companies seeking to reach local audiences directly and professionally. The Course aims to offer you the skills to work in radio and audio production in an industry where an understanding of a variety of media and platforms is increasingly important.
