University Description: The University of East Anglia (UEA) is an internationally renowned university based in a campus that provides top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 13,000 students. UEA is ranked amongst the top three for student satisfaction according to the first National Student Survey and in the top 20 in the UK by the Sunday Times. Located in 320 acres of rolling parkland but just two miles from the centre of the cathedral city of Norwich the University is adjacent to the Norwich Research Park which is home to over 1,000 scientists working in several world ranked institutions. Sporting facilities on campus include the University Sportspark which houses an Olympic sized swimming pool and regularly hosts international sporting events.

Course Description: The course is intended to provide students with a range of theoretical and practical training. This is a variant of the established Film and Television MA, introduced in the early 1990s in response to demand from within the film archive world for a course of training that would combine practical and critical elements. UEA was the ideal place for this because of the presence on campus of the pioneering regional set-up, the East Anglian Film Archive, and because of the established MA programme with its strong film and television history component.

Undergraduate Degree – Classification UK BA (Hons) 2.1 or equivalent

Minimum IELTS 6.5 with a minimum 6 in each section and 6.5 in writing
