After a multi-agency pitch initiated by SBI Mutual Fund, the media duties of SBI MF have been given over to Allied Media. Allied Media is the media planning, evaluation and buying agency of Percept Limited (which handles the creative duties of SBI MF). The account is estimated to be worth Rs. 30 crores.

The media duties for SBI have already commenced from January 1, 2010 and has been confirmed as Agency On Record across print, TV and radio.

Allied Media won the account over other contenders which included Lintas, GroupM, Motivator and Lodestar.

Manish Arora is the new Director – Business Planning AMO. AMO – an acronym for ‘Analysis of Marketing Opportunities’ was set up in 2000 as a joint venture between Percept Limited and Hakuhodo Inc. Manish will be leading business development initiatives for AMO’s Mumbai office.

Before joining AMO, Arora worked with Saints & Warriors. He has also previously worked with Classic Advertising (Dubai), Quadrant Communications and O&M for clients such as Pantaloons, Staples, Amul Innerwears, Elf Lubricants, Toshiba, Alcatel Videocon, Voltas and Sansui, among others.

Manish Arora will reporting to the MD of the company, Elvis Dias and COO Jitendra Khokle.
