I would go with Passion and ability. If you have passion but you dont have the ability then it wouldnt work. Same the other way. If these two are there in the right combination, media is the field for you! More soon.

i guess along wit passion and ....its also strong motivation and NEED to do what U want to.That really propels things fwd...

I feel, aptitude is another great req for a career in media, esp because its a very demanding job with no real, fixed job cycle. One day you're in the office from dawn to dusk, the other day you're meeting people/clients/vendors on the field, and next day, you're back making strategies from your previous day's insights. BTW, you haven't slept much last 36 hours, tomorrow is Monday, and yesterday was,ofcourse a gone by, Sunday
