23rdAugust 2013 (Friday) DNA TOI Article Title: “23-year-old photojournalist gang-raped in Mahalaxmi” the woman working for a magazine in the city, had gone along with a male friend on an assignment on Shakti mills compound near famous Studio Mahalaxmi when the incident took place. The police say that there were five rapists and ten suspects have been picked up for questioning Article Title: “Photographer gang-raped in old Mahalaxmi mill in Mumbai, cops release sketches of 5 suspects”
The incident happened between 5pm and 6pm when the girl and her colleague were at Shakti Mills, very close to the railway tracks in the Mahalaxmi area, shooting for a magazine assignment. Five men barged into the mill, saying the two had trespassed into "railway property". The two would have to accompany them to their "senior officers”.In this article we see that there are not many facts disclosed to the audience since it happened the day before and the girl is severely injured to speak

However unlike TOI this newspaper has put names. Article Title: “Punish them. They’ve ruined my life” The victim wants life imprisonment for the perpetrators. “they ruined my life” as she says that is because she is now in physical pain she has also learned to have told her family.in this article we see a detailed report on the incident, very systematically put out to the audience to let them know what actually happed in the rape case

Article Title: “Two more arrested for Mumbai gang rape, police folly lets another get away” The city police made two more arrests – Vijay Jadhav (19) and Siraj Khan (26) the total number of arrests is now three but is could have easily been four. One of the accused, Qasim Shakti (20), escaped because he was unwittingly alerted by the police constable. There also seems to be a forgery sins on birth certificate of ‘juvenile’

(Monday) Front Page Front Page Article Title: “Tea, matinee show after rape” fifth rapist arrested from Delhi - Vijay Jadhav (23) was arrested while he was watching a show “DilwaleDulhania Le Jayenge”(DDLJ) also mentioned in this article is that Jadhav was 19 years old Article Title: “Last 2 of 5 gang rape suspects nabbed from city and Delhi” Qasim Shakti (21) was picked up outside Nair Hospital around 3 a.m. He claimed on Sunday that he is a minor and he is below 17 years old. The other suspect that was picked up was Salim Ansari (27) was picked nabbed on the Delhi- Haryana border at 11 a.m.

To conclude I would like to point out that in all the articles we see that the age of the rapists have been changed and from the 23rd we see a change in the way they present the news till the 27th. Another thing that I have noticed is that the amount of details that have increased during the days helps the audience fit the pieces together and get a clearer picture of the incident.
